Abc family wants more of Kyle as the network renewed the series and will be on its third season in early 2009. The Kyle XY third season will compose of 10 powerful episodes that will capture everybody as what the 1st and the 2nd season did to the abc family demographic. Other Abc family pickups for 2009 are Roommates (about a quartet of post-college friends navigating their young adult years) and Sophie, a young woman deals with the worst year of her life.
